We play a wide range of card games, and are always willing to try something new. Below are just some of our favourites.

Magic: the GatheringProbably the longest running CCG with many editions all of which are
interchangeable. Using mana of various colours to power spells of different
types, being themed on one of the five colours, wizards duel for supremacy.
Essentially a two player game with each deck being customized by its owner,
no two games are the same, whilst the release of pre-constructed, themed
starter decks mean that new players can get up and running with the minimum
of expense, developing their own decks by addition of new cards by purchase
or trade. Cards have a rarity value with the more powerful cards being
rarer which creates a market for trade which can be quite addictive. An
average game lasts half an hour and is immensly absorbing and great fun.

Lord of the Rings TCGProduced by Decipher and based on the 3 Peter Jackson films, players
each build a deck consisting of half evil and half good cards, and then
advance along a 9 site adventure path whilst trying to stop their opponents
doing the same. The game works well with up to four players and each deck
is constructed from cards either purchased or traded in the same way as
Magic. There are a number of cultures for both sides, each themed around
a feature of Middle Earth (Elves, Isenguard, Wraiths, Hobbits etc) with
each culture working in a different way. Once again, cards have different
rarity values encouraging the collectors amongst us to establish a full
trading community, with this being further promoted by the cards being
split into a number of blocks (Fellowship, Two Towers, Return of the King
etc) each with three sets that work well together. An average game can
take up to an hour and a half and is very absorbing.
