The Week Ending November 16th 2019
Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed. Here’s what we liked this week:
In the Wild:
- Independent Characters Episode 196: Moving With Your 40K The Independent Characters Podcast The ICs talk about what happens when you move and want to take your hobby with you. How do you pack and transport minis, and how do you start/find/join a new gaming group in your new location?
- The Great Clean One Wilhel Miniatures Everyone's been talking about this all week and we're not immune to its strange, wondrous charms. It's so... smooth.
- Simon's Conversions @ingrimmson via Instagram These are easily the most elaborate space marine conversions I've ever seen. Just baroque as hell, and dripping with character.
- Greyseer's Insane Armies on Parade Display Board @greyseer on Twitter Somehow the converted Imperator Titan (which looks great) isn't the most impressive thing about this incredible display.
- Douglas Taylor's Aeronautica Imperialis Custom Buildings Aeronautica Imperialis 2019 Closed Facebook Group Doug had some custom buildings he's designed 3D printed and they look good, but they're also very functional, with altitude markers on the top of each. Great idea.
- Andrey Demidov's Warhound Andrey Demidov via Facebook The detail and brushwork that went into painting the murals on this warhound are just incredible. Great stuff.
- Wade Pryce's Titanicus-Scale Bloodthirster
A really neat conversion that shows off some of the opportunities for converting smaller-scale stuff in AT.@wadepryce on Twitter
- Coda’s Painting Stream Twitch Coda streams at weird hours owing to being in Australia, but it’s worth your time to stop in on his stream when you can.

- Faith and Fury Review, Part 1: Chaos by Robert "TheChriurgeon" Jones, Tyler "Coda" , and James “One_Wing” Grover We dig into the meat of the new Faith and Fury book, looking at everything it has to offer Chaos armies.
- Index: Inquisition Review by James “One_Wing” Grover Wings gives all the details on the new Inquisitor rules and how they're likely to shake things up.
- Hammer of Math: Diet Smite (Chaos Edition) by Kevin Genson This week, Kevin dove into the stats stats behind Chaos psychic powers that deal mortal wounds, and looked at comparing them to doing more Smites.
- Necromunday: Dealing with Melee by Dan “SexCannon” Boyd and Merton In this week’s Necromunday the boys looked at how to manage and avoid getting locked up in melee combat.
- Warlord Wednesdays: Reaver Focus by Garrett “John Condit” Severson This week, Garrett talks about Reaver Titans
- Horus Heresy: Zone Mortalis by LordTwisted This week LordTwisted wrote about Zone Mortalis in Horus Heresey, and the updated rules that GW just released.
- Start Competing: Tyranids by Kevin Genson and Chase "Gunum" Garber This week, the crew put down some thoughts on running Tyranids competitively.
- Kill Team Specialists, Part 2: Combat, Zealot, and Medic by Chucat We’re doing a guide to Kill Team specialists, which continued this week with the fightman specialists
- Doubles Therapy: Killa Kanz 2019 by Scott Horras "Heresy" Scott talks about his experiences winning the Killa Kanz doubles event with his better half.
- How to Paint Everything: Night Lords by Robert "TheChirurgeon" Jones In this week’s How to Paint Everything, we covered Night Lords armies and how to get those lightning bolts juuuuust right.
