https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/comments/1pvbqcr/rohirrim_knight/Seasons greetings from the last CWL of 2025! Its been a wild year of hobby and gaming goodness, so lets go for one last round this solar cycle. First up we've got a wonderfully freehanded Imperial Knight from redditor Appropriate_Ad_9132, decorating the metal steed with designs inspired by the Celtic motifs of the Rohirrim by way of the Jackson LotR films. This works really well as a reference, appropriate for the faction its being transplanted on and subtle enough to not register as a reference if you weren't familiar. The best kind of out-of-universe referencing.
Black Templars Ancient by dumbrobotstuff
We honestly could have put a post by dumbrobotstuff on every week on this column for the whole year, just pumping out banger after banger. So lets give them a slot of honour in this last week with their Black Templar Ancient, looking suitably crusader with the simple additions of chains around the wrists and a more heraldry inspired banner topper. Awesome. We've seen miniatures and models made out of some wild materials, and those materials just keep getting wilder as time goes on. Like here, with Youtuber Roborovski kitbashing a mecha out of an old phone handset, detailing the entire process to some synth jams. This kicks so much ass, go watch it now.
