On the Internet at Large
- The Forge Temple's Heresy era Deathwing @the_forge_temple via Instagram This is a great paint job that oozes character and shows off how cool the Horus Heresy Dark Angels models are.
- NOVA Open’s Summer Raffles NOVA Open Charitable Foundation We were deeply saddened (but in complete understanding) when NOVA was canceled this year. However that doesn’t mean it’s all cancelled – now through September 12th you can buy tickets to their raffle for a chance to win wonderfully painted miniatures from artists around the world.
- Aaron's Marble Bases @GivenAaron via Twitter This is probably the best marbling effect I've ever seen and the work Aaron puts in to give his base a precious gem inlay makes these something spectacular. The account's a pretty pro follow generally.
- Legion of the Damned Indomitus Captain @knoxminis via Instagram This is an insanely cool conversion of an Indomitus Captain. We picked this one to showcase because of the amazing work done on the shield, but if you check out the account you can find a host of other Legion of the Damned Primaris marines conversions that rip.
- Sean's Smash Chaplain @seanzor21 via Twitter A very cool primaris chaplain conversion with a winged jump pack.
- Wayne Mak's Catachan Knight @wanesminis via Instagram This thing is so great. I can't stop giggling at it every time I see it.
- Andy's Imperial Fists Repulsor @AndyKilloch via Twitter This project is shaping up nicely but what's really notable about it is that Andy has done some cool work magnetizing the underside of the turret to make it easy to store the tank's alternative weapon options. Very clever.
- Kyle's Orks @Skari2 via Twitter Kyle poses with his 70,000+ points of painted orks. I feel like it's always Ork players I see in these insane, wonderful photos of hobby dedication. Get your shit together, other faction havers.
- Custom Outrider by Master Crafted Minis @MCMiniatures via Twitter The tribal decal is cool but what really makes this conversion work is the custom wheels, which look fantastic and completely change the look of the model.
