Follow Goonhammer at the World Championships of Warhammer and the Grand Narrative!

This weekend sees the end of the ITC calendar as Golden Ticket winners flock to Atlanta to face each other down in the World Championships of Warhammer. With events for Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, and Underworlds, it's a huge weekend for competitive play with World Champions crowned and ITC winners to be decided.

On top of the cut-throat competitive action, there's narrative play too, with the Warhammer 40,000 Grand Narrative returning. This year the event is subtitled Into the Webway, and the metaplot surrounding the gaming is sure to be packed with Aeldari trickery as a result. If you haven't followed the Grand Narrative before, Games Workshop really goes all-out on it, with costumed actors playing the parts of faction leaders and strolling the halls in character. Lots of the participants are LARPing too, giving the event extra flavour.
